First Items

Bags

I found the Maribou Feathers and loved them.  The bases were Satin and the feathered string was coiled and sewn to the outside.

About Me

Hi I'm Ann-Marie and I really love making things.  My mum always made clothes and knitted so I was around sewing all my life.  Pat helped me a lot in my teens and twenties and bought me my first sewing machine which I had for over 25 years making various items, but I did not make much during my 30s and early 40s..
My dear friend Linda introduced me to the W.I. and I joined my local group several years ago.  This really activated the creative gene and I’ve never looked back.  The W.I. shows present challenges for items you would not think of making but are so much fun.
I have a portable kit and load it up when I go out and about.  We are currently taking a year off to sail our boat and sewing and making things has helped to while away the non-sailing hours.
